[ Tavros is not feeling festive or interested in capturing beasts. he has not felt like this for several days. and after spending these several days by himself, thinking Deep Thoughts, he has finally emerged to speak on the communicator regarding them, opting for video despite how much harder actually talking is versus typing. he just gives the camera a long look, fumbling for words, before speaking. ]

Uhh, so, there's a matter which has, I guess, come to my attention, recently, and I was thinking about it a lot, and wondering some things, that I couldn't really figure out an answer to, so, I guess what I was wondering is if anyone that's, uhh, here, could maybe help me with the figuring out, that I mentioned, regarding this topic. ...which is that I was wondering about... uh. Individuals who, previously, as in, before they got here, to Johto, when they were at the place they originated from, that were in a state of being, uhh. Not. Alive, anymore.

[ a pause, frowning thoughtfully. ]

It's probably sort of obvious that they're not in that state of un-alive, like I said, now, but, I was wondering if maybe they knew about it when they got here, or... uhh, well, I don't really know exactly, what I'm asking for, I just. It's kind of bothering me, I guess.

[ he starts to say something else but ultimately decides he's staggered through his sentences enough and fumbles uncomfortably with the 'gear before turning it off. ]

Yeah, they know about it when they get here. And lots of times they make really annoying and retarded posts about it and freak out about everything because of it.

Ah...I wouldn't say I remember this 'undoing,' exactly. Although my circumstances may have had something to do with that - they were more than a bit unusual.

Oh, yes, I guess that makes sense, that, uhh, if they were from a time before the situation resulting in their death could occur that, theoretically, they wouldn't know what that thing is.

Yes, it seems to be a flighty thing, because, uhh, sometimes everybody is from a different thing, and it's then difficult to match up the information.

Some do know know while others do not. I'm afraid with Johto's tendency to take others from different times do not make it very consistent.

That seems like a thing that's true, and, uhh, that makes things pretty difficult to handle, for, I guess, the people who might possibly be not alive, and also for the individuals that know them, as well.

Well, I guess not, but I was sort of hoping that maybe there would be a way to, uhh, ask the individuals that are responsible for the coming and going in this place, if there are any of those, I guess, if they could maybe just stop doing that. The coming and going.

It was just a thing that Karkat said, when I talked to him, uhh, when he first arrived here for what is now the second time, that I know of. But, uhh, it's not really sudden, because that was awhile ago, and, I've been thinking about it a lot, which hasn't really done a thing that's good or useful.

Well, the thing was that I said hello to him, and he said something about dead people running around, and, also explained that a number of us were possibly not alive, in the same subject as the first part of what I just said, but, uhh, he didn't say who, or how. And also Sollux said that someone went crazy one time, and also I found out that Eridan is one of the dead trolls that was mentioned, and I'm just, uhh, kind of concerned, because I think I might be one of them also, but I really hope not.

[ ...yeah, so he kind of blew up a little there. he's just so distressed by this thought. ]
