Uhh, so, there's a matter which has, I guess, come to my attention, recently, and I was thinking about it a lot, and wondering some things, that I couldn't really figure out an answer to, so, I guess what I was wondering is if anyone that's, uhh, here, could maybe help me with the figuring out, that I mentioned, regarding this topic. ...which is that I was wondering about... uh. Individuals who, previously, as in, before they got here, to Johto, when they were at the place they originated from, that were in a state of being, uhh. Not. Alive, anymore.

[ a pause, frowning thoughtfully. ]

It's probably sort of obvious that they're not in that state of un-alive, like I said, now, but, I was wondering if maybe they knew about it when they got here, or... uhh, well, I don't really know exactly, what I'm asking for, I just. It's kind of bothering me, I guess.

[ he starts to say something else but ultimately decides he's staggered through his sentences enough and fumbles uncomfortably with the 'gear before turning it off. ]

But you aren't, though, because you can still do stuff at all, and that basically excludes useless from something you could be.

Well, I don't have stairs in my room, but if I did I would probably fall down all of them.

Oh no, that's awful. Nobody else should have to, uhh, experience that kind of thing, due to the level of its awfulness.

Heh, yeah, I guess so. At least the last time I fell down the stairs I wasn't awake for it.

How did you fall down the stairs while you were, uhh, asleep?

KK dropped me down them and knocked out my teeth!

I think it was an accident, but he never actually said. I just like holding it over him and making fun of him for it.

Does he feel bad about it?

If by "feel bad" you mean "beats himself up for it and apologizes every time it comes up", then the answer is yes.

Uh oh, I guess that's definitely a "yes" manner of answering. Poor Karkat. [ pause. ] I don't know, should I feel bad for him in this situation, actually, I'm not really sure.

I don't know if you should. He was kind of scared, but I also don't mind having my teeth knocked out, so it wasn't really that bad in the end.

Well, I guess, I might have to go with yes, feeling sorry for him, because, I would also be really scared, if I accidentally caused you to fall down stairs and lose your teeth and other things like what you said happened, and also other feelings of a generally unpleasant nature.
