[ today, our friendly neighborhood campeador sits side-saddle on a Rapidash in motion while he makes his video post. they seem to be wandering around Ilex Forest (close to the Azalea entrance, for anyone interested in running into him), alone save for the occasional flash of a rogue Diglett popping up out of the ground in the background. stalking him. menacingly. ]

... uhh. Hi, okay, I was going to talk about something, but, I sort of forgot what that was going to be, originally. It seems that somehow, through some meticulous effort and, uh, other such things, I have managed to obtain three badges out of... however many that there are to get. I think it's eight? [ pauses to think, then shrugs. ] At first it was just a thing that I was doing just, you know, to kind of, uhh, prove to certain individuals including myself that it even was a thing that I was capable of.

But now I sort of am enjoying the task a little more than what was, uhh, previously expected? So, uhh... I mean, so, I guess that's good.

I'm not sure where the next insignia of accomplishment is for us to get, but, I can kind of assume based on recent things that we will most likely be going to get that one next. That's a fine perspective to have, especially for a breeder.

I don't know if I'd necessarily consider ruthlessness to be a talent. Some might argue its advantages, but the ends don't always justify the means.

That's fairly tautological, isn't it? It's useful in situations where it's useful. On the other hand, the truly clever player would be the one who sees all the paths to success, and doesn't have to resort to just that one.

Only in a metaphorical sense. The term "blue blood" has been used to describe royalty or high-class individuals as a way of distinguishing them from the working class. When viewed through pale, untanned skin — the kind an aristocrat, who didn't have to spend his days toiling in the sun to make his living, would have — the blood in human veins appears blue.

Is that important in your culture, blood color? What other colors would there be?

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet? That's the order of colors in visible light. As far as the human eye is concerned, anyway; what constitutes "visible" can vary among different species.

By that reckoning, though, all humans would be beneath you, wouldn't they?

That's a fairly comprehensive list. And I see how it works in text, displaying your blood color in your word color. Contact in person seems like it would present more of a challenge, though, telling whose blood was which color, and therefore who stood higher in rank in any given interaction.
