OH GOD. he lets out a yelp of surprise and grabs onto the arms of his wheelchair, too petrified to think of turning his head right away. it's sad, if he weren't so surprised, he might actually think this is kind of fun. at least until he realizes it's Vriska behind the wheel...s. ]

[She keeps running with him until she builds up a good speed then lets go and lets him coast on his own, toward near certain crashdom.]

[ ooohhhh noooooo, the wheels are spinning too fast for him to put the brakes on, but he tries to grab on and steer, anyway, which really hurts his hands and does nothing to help the situation except for make him careen to the side and crash into a row of trash cans horizontally instead of head on.

but he still goes flying into the mess anyway, over the pile of cans and into a nearby yard. ]

[Too. Funny. Vriska is just doubled over laughing for a moment before straightening up and heading over towards the yard.]

[ he manages to roll himself onto his side, making the most pathetic face and wincing. he has a boo-boo on his face and it's bleeding! ;n; ]

Well, it might have been maybe a little bit fun if, uhh, it hadn't ended in a disastrous sort of manner, I guess.

[ wipes his face, frowning--and then jumping at the sight on his hand. that is red, something is definitely wrong with him. ]

[She gives his hand, then head a bit of a wide eyed look, then shakes her head.]

Well we're lame and human here, I guess. And humans do have that freaky red blood.

[ he feels like there might be some big red bullseye target on his face just for bleeding this color and frantically wipes his hand off in the grass, using the shoulder of his shirt to smudge the rest off his face. ]

All of them do? That's weird, uhh, even to me, who doesn't find things like that weird, normally.

Are you kidding!? It's totally strange! I mean, all humans have the same blood color. How do they differentiate between classes? It makes no fucking sense if you ask me. And such an ostentatious color even! Bright red like that.

[ presses his hand to his cheek and never takes it away. ]

It's just really awful, and uhh, I don't know, I kind of feel like I'm not me, suddenly.

[She glances off to the side for a moment with a slight frown.]

I get what you mean. The pink flesh was strange enough, then the lack of horns, and now this.

I guess, uhh, I don't really mind the part where we're human, and look strange and have weird bits and things, and, the equality thing is nice, too, but, sometimes...

[ he has to stop to think about how to articulate his thoughts on the matter, particularly since talking about his thoughts around Vriska makes him feel pressured and uncomfortable. ]

[She nods and scuffs a foot. It is a lot to take in, and it hasn't been easy for her either.]

[ glances back! he's not sure, but they just might be having a moment of understanding. kind of. either way, he smiles ever so vaguely, in that tremulous and awkward way of his. ]

[There was no moment, none at all. Except, maybe, a little. But just a little!]

[She kicks the wheel of his chair.]

I'm hungry. Take me to get something to eat!

Uhh... okay, one second.

[ he'll have to flip that chair back over and climb into it! which the kicking reminds him to do, and he makes pretty good time with it. when you fall out of it as much as he does, you learn to get back up again pretty fast.

but it still looks pretty stupid watching him drag himself around. ]
